Dear All:It is of great sadness to inform you that our dear friend Dr. Kwo Hrong Lai has passed away last Saturday night in a Massachusetts hospital after years of battling with a lung and a brain cancers. He succumbed to a deteriorated health condition after suffering a duodenum bleeding ulcer and a pneumonia in his final days.Throughout these years after he was diagnosed with cancers, nothing could have slowed him down. I remember that he took a long flight back to Taiwan, only a few days after his brain cancer surgery, for the purpose of closing the final chapter of his beloved grandma’s remains. He and Catherine took trips with friends and classmates each year. They would fly to Florida to play golf together. His spirit was always admirably high and he was always so friendly to people around him.Rest in peace, Kwo. You are always in our hearts. Our condolence to Catherine for the loss of your loved one.Celia and Wally Chen
